DJ Tira, DJ Sox and DJ Cndo are joining the party as Oskido’s birthday celebration gets even bigger
Mzansi, dust off those dancing shoes because Oskido’s Big Day Out is about to get very loud!
The festival has added DJ Tira, DJ Sox aka Durban’s Finest and DJ Cndo to its already impressive 2026 lineup, bringing some serious Durban flavour to Johannesburg.
The third edition takes place on Saturday, 28 November 2026 at Huddle Park in Linksfield, promising a full day of house, Kwaito, amapiano and hip-hop.
Durban is bringing the heat
This year’s festival will celebrate Durban’s massive contribution to South Africa’s dance-music culture.
From the golden Kwaito era to the sounds keeping dancefloors busy today, Durban has produced generations of artists who have shaped Mzansi's musical identity.
With these Durban legends joining the lineup, expect the two-stage festival to be packed with throwback anthems, fresh sounds and plenty of “Hayi, this song takes me back!” moments.
It’s a birthday, but make it legendary
The 2026 edition is extra special for Oskido, who will celebrate his birthday alongside a major career milestone.
Earlier this year, the music veteran was awarded the Order of Ikhamanga by the Presidency for his contribution to South African music and culture.
And now, he’s taking that celebration to the dancefloor. As one does!
FNB joins the party
Adding another major moment, FNB has come on board as the official partner of Oskido’s Big Day Out.
The partnership aims to bring together music, culture and memorable experiences, with both brands highlighting the importance of connection and creating lasting moments.
Oskido says the festival has always been about bringing people together through music — and this year, the experience is getting even bigger.
