Pack away the audition tapes and pop the expensive bubbly, Mzansi—the search is officially over! Out of more than 3,000 hopefuls vying to live the ultimate high life, Homba Mazaleni has been crowned the winner of the Top Billing Presenter Search 2026, proudly brought to us by Lucky Fish.
A Journey Worth Cheering For
Hailing from the Eastern Cape—with roots in Gonubie, East London, and Dutywa—Homba’s road to the screen wasn’t your usual drama-school pipeline. She’s a sport scientist, biokineticist, digital content creator, sports broadcaster, and a Miss South Africa 2023 Top 5 finalist! Talk about a resume that makes the rest of us want to take a quick nap.
From her very first online entry, Homba had South Africans rooting for her. Her warmth, infectious energy, and natural flair completely stole the show as she breezed through the Top 40, Top 10, and final five. During her final challenge, she even stepped into the fast lane of motorsport, interviewing racing driver Chloe Stuart and proving she can handle high speed with absolute grace.
Science, Glamour, and Pure Mzansi Magic
