South Africa’s Festival of Comedy with Trevor Noah and the Bafunny Bafunny squad is bringing an arena-sized comedy experience to Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town this September.
Served by Savanna, the festival brings together some of Mzansi’s sharpest comedic voices, with global star Trevor Noah leading the squad.
Meet Mzansi’s comedy starting XI
Trevor Noah will captain the line-up, with comedian Eugene Khoza serving as vice-captain.
The squad also includes Thabiso Mhlongo, Lindy Johnson, Panch Gasela and Mbali Gudazi, bringing everything from kasi and street humour to observations about life in the 'burbs.
Trevor says the festival is a chance to showcase some of South Africa’s best comedic talent on a massive stage.
And honestly, with this line-up, even the family member who says “I don't like comedians” might crack a smile.
